Here at the National Dog Training Centre (NDTC LTD), our goal is to give our customers the best ongoing advice so they can continue to train and be in control of their dogs. We provide dog training solutions for problems encountered by owners throughout the North West. We have the knowledge and experience to use the right training methods to train your dog the way you require. We understand all dogs are different but the experience will overcome any problems you may have. Do not worry if you have been told that your dog cannot be helped, most behaviours are sorted by our experienced trainers very quickly and effectively. Lou has been working with dogs for 15years. She has a lifetime of experience in training and handling dogs of all breeds. Since 2007 had become the owner of licensed boarding kennels and training outlet. Constantly developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of canine behaviour and dog training. This has led to her being a successful trainer and dog handling instructor of both professional dog handlers and pet owners alike, with many successes across a wide variety of breeds and types of dogs.

As a Professional Dog Trainer and Canine Behaviour Consultant for many years, all of Lou's experience and expertise is available to clients who are serious about getting the best from their dogs.

Lou is currently training her 2 personal dogs Kova CDEX (Belgian Malinois) she has completed her BH(IPO) bronze and silver Kc Award and completed in many Trials, displays and demonstrations. Lou and Kova recently won the third trophy at the 2016 British Working & security Canine Association trials and was Third Place in the BIPDT Trial  2016. Lou is also an experienced and successful trainer of Assistance  Dogs helping people fulfil and assist their everyday needs. Lou is also a certified NASDU instructor providing training to security dogs and handlers, she has also qualified tattooist for the National dog tattoo register, qualified microchipped.

Lou is also qualified to give Dog first Aid Courses for Students.

Tom has been working with dogs for 19years. He has a lifetime of experience in training and handling dogs of all breeds. Since 2007 had become the owner of licensed boarding kennels and training outlet. Constantly developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of canine behaviour and dog training. This has led to him being a successful trainer and dog handling instructor of both professional dog handlers and pet owners alike, with many successes across a wide variety of breeds and types of dogs.

As a Professional Dog Trainer and Canine Behaviour Consultant for many years, including charities and dog training bodies in the U.K. Tom has been a NASDU accredited instructor since 2015 and continuously strives to improve standards within the security dog industry, alongside NASDU.

All of Tom experience and expertise is available to clients who are serious about getting the best from their dogs. Tom specialises in aggressive dogs helping people achieve their goals. Tom is currently training his personal dog  Zorro CDEX (Dutch Herder) he has completed his BH(IPO) bronze and silver Kc Award and completed in many Trials, displays and demonstrations. Tom and Zorro recently Won 1st place trophy at the 2016 British Working & security Canine Association trials as well as best protection and was place 8th Place in the BSPCA Trial 2015.

Tom has taken part in the Joint Selection Trial with VITO IPO3 and Also NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS were they were place 5th. Tom is also an experienced and successful trainer of Assistance Dogs helping people fulfil and assist their everyday needs. Tom is also a certified NASDU instructor providing training to security dogs and handlers, he has also qualified tattooist for the National dog tattoo register, qualified microchipped.

Charlotte Johnstone

Charlotte Johnstone

Assistant Trainer & Instructor

Charlotte is an outstanding trainer which is easy to see by the standard of her three dogs, which have all been trained using Lou and Toms (her Mum & Dad) methods and philosophy. Charlotte is passionate about dog training and is only too happy to help and advise our clients wherever possible, whether that be during assessments, 1-2-1 sessions or classes. She just loves to talk about dogs & dog training!­ And can often be seen out and about walking her dogs.

She has been involved with dogs from an early age due to her  Mum and Dad.
